Synopsis:

This book tell how companies that are Environmental and emplyee foucused have better returns than other companies. It lists a few companies and tells if they are Blue (Emplyee Environmental) or Red just out for a quick buck at any expense.

It changes in later chapters to be much more politically written with blue companies being pro democratic party and Red being repulican contributors. There is a lot of big money from companies like Haliburton and Wal Mart going to republicans.

The part I like in this book is about how a few companies really treat and repsect their employees. They will even forgo profit to offer better pay and bebefits. One company that does this is Starbucks coffee. I never knew that part of the company. I never go there and don't even drink coffee.

A very good book to read and learn from. It gave a side of business that I never noticed or knew before. It will help with who I invest in !

Review:

a very interesting book to help us see how big companies work. After hearing about some of the benefits I'd love to work for a blue company that values emplyees and does amazing things for them, all the time.

I think it's a must read to see another side of companies and politics.
