Hey Joe,
I have a Prius and I must say, it is more than I expected. One of my vices is being a fast driver and I like a car that can move. I was skeptical when I made the switch to hybrid and did not have very high expectations but it surprisingly performs pretty nicely. Overall, I am happy with it and don't plan on driving anything else until I can afford a Tesla
In regards to the navigation system, you cannot change it while the car is moving. You have to be stopped in order to put in a new destination or tweak with the settings. But it does work in real time when you are driving so you can figure out where you are going!
