Re: my Laugh Lines
Marcos - I share your concern for the bees. I consider Honey one of Natures most perfect foods. It is also a wonder in treating the skin, both for the protection of the surface and for wounds. It is not common practice to use it for wounds any more but it was used for centuries as a 'healer' and was considered worth it's weight in gold.
It is a tremendous concern that our bees are diminishing. It was Albert Einstein that said "When the bees are gone - mankind will be gone in four years".
I hope that more people become involved in "Saving the Bees". I am grateful to Ed Begley, Jr., Joseph Gutwirth and Tim Matteson for giving us a forum where we can have people write in and voice their concerns.
We use honey in our products from a local beekeeper whose family has been providing honey to the public through four generations. These growers consider their bees as 'sacred' and treat them with love and care. They do not cut off the wings from the queen bee nor do they crush the bees to get the honey. They take great pride in being humane.
We have never said that we are VEGANS. WE do say that the products we sell to the public are from 'natural' sources. I don't think you can get more natural than honey - bee vomit or not. Our products are made with love and great care to offer the consumer the safest, most effective exfoliates on the market. Our primary concern IS for the consumer. I wouldn't put out anything that I thought (or knew) to be the least bit dangerous or toxic.
