There are many site where you can buy solar panels and inverters. The best source is to find a dealer close to you. Then if you have any questions you can ask them. It also saves shipping the equipment across the country 2 or 3 times.
That said if you have incentives for adding a solar system to your home you may have to use a certified installer or you won't be eligable for the incentives.
