Fahren - You are right on both counts. There are many people who want to take advantage of opportunities in a way that benefits them quickly. I expect that to also be the case in the acquiring and selling of marine products. That comes under the heading of "greed" and that is the main cause of our planet being in trouble by those who disregard the value of our land, air and sea.
Fortunately, the companies I have worked with have been aware of the value of sea produce and materials. Our company is founded by our Scandanavian heritage.
If you are interested in knowing some of the technical ways of harvesting marine life, minerals and products - you can find it on the internet.
