I questioned that as well including an ad for Grand Theft Auto? Who is doing the screening? Sure we don't have to hit the link and ignore, but it really "grinds my gears" to see CRAP like that on a site I enjoy and peruse frequently.
I get on here to get away from "reality" and enjoy cyber brotherhood mixed with a hint of shared lexicons.
I back CTYankee 100% on this one. He is not always right, albeit, this one he nailed right on the head!

When I logged in this afternoon I was greeted with a banner ad for a SCAM. It was one of those run your car on water ads, and I thought I was going to lose my lunch.
Please, please, please. Will the owners/operators of the board please refuse garbage from sponsors like this.
It cheapens the board, and is makes all the good works here look questionable by association.
Brown's Gas is a scam, it's a lie, it's a waste of time, it's a waste of effort, and a lie!
For several months I've been active here, trying to point out the harsh truth of economics on many of the topics here. We all *want* a cleaner, better planet, a less wasteful society, but utopian dreams aside there is the harsh reality of the early 21st century.
When we allow predators that knowingly try to rip people off to speak in out presence with out calling them out, then we are complacent. I will not be complacent!
