Product Ingredients
When it comes to natural skin care, bath salts always come to mind. Reason is that basically all of its ingredients are natural, from the salt to the essential oil. These salts not just good for making your outside appearance look good, but it actually makes the body healthy overall (benefits of sea salts). These salts are known for relieving body aches and pains while the minerals found in the salts are absorbed through the skin when you soak in them. Don't forget the essential oils added in them.

RVM - Hearing from you was such a pleasant surprise. I am excited to be on this forum. I am interested in representing people and their needs, personally, while others can go with the TECH part of "Fixing the Planet". (Although I do visit the other forums and learn what I can. I am fascinated by what they are doing and saying)
When you have a chance - take a look at my web site: www.facefitness.com and if you have any questions or comments, please let me know. It was nice hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Francine
DMP - Your questions leads me to tell you that this is the reason I have become part of this forum. To me, a universe can only be as healthy as the people in it. We are too used to accept anything that says we can live longer and look better. We don't question because we don't really want to find out that what we are being told is not true. You can read the ingredients on the skin care products in the stores and the ones that are repeated over and over again are fillers and preservatives. Stay away from the ones that have Ascorbic Acid or Retin A. Ascorbic Acid can cause irritation of the skin and Retin A can cause birth defects. Even you aren't a potential mother, why would you put something on your face that would cause such damage? It's madness.
If you read my BIO you will see that I am a survivor of cancer - a spider melanoma, on my face, that almost took my life.
I spent many years trying to find ingredients that would not irritate or endanger my skin - finding none, I developed my own. I have become an Esthetician and I am listed in Who's Who for my research into natural skin care and anti-aging products.
I appeared on Fox 31 a few years ago and they showed me eating a spoonful of my exfoliating powder. It is so safe that you can brush your teeth with it, although we don't have products made for that purpose.
There are a few cosmetic lines that are trying to make their products more "user-friendly", but even those have to use preservatives. Our preservatives are baking soda and honey. It is the blending of our products with a naturally occuring mineral from the sea that makes them so effective.
When you see models on TV and in magazines remember that they are very young and have perfect skins. This is a sore point with me because it is very misleading.
Now, to get to some natural ways to help your skin:
- Use Honey as a mask. Warm it up first so that it will be easier to spread. Leave it on as long as possible. Use very warm water to rinse.
- If you have fine hair on your face or arms, use honey as thick as you can find and spread it over that area. Next take a butter knife and "shave" with it. It will remove the hair. If it is a little too hard, then put the knife in warm water and use it that way.
- For "age spots" take Cream of Tarter, made into a paste, and dab it on those spots. You can leave it on until it dries. Then rinse.
- For beautiful eyebrows, brush the brow with olive oil.
- If you want your hair to sparkle and be PH balanced, make your lst rinse with 1/4 cup of vinegar and water.
- Don't forget to include Omega Oils in your diet and organaic vegatables and fruits. You truly are what you eat.
These are fine to do just for the basics, but if you have deeply imbedded blackheads or surface wrinkles, you need products that are safe and effective and blended for that purpose.
It has been my pleasure to hear from you. Please write back with any questions or comments. Let me hear from you.

Dear Francine,
I have tried "natural" products several times. I find these products in stores that market to the "green" community. However, when I check the ingredients of some of these products, they contain many of the same chemical ingredients of the products I am trying to avoid. My skin hates the chemicals and I know the environment does.
When it comes to hygiene and skin care, can you recommend a home remedy or a product line with truely natural ingredients?
Thank you for your time.
