wind power electricty

I would also look at solar since it makes energy during the peak hours of the day. Solar PV electric, solar hot water and passive solar (shade). A hybrid wind/solar system can work well.
The biggest payback is the simple things like shade, overhangs, better insulation, better windows etc.

In Florida you need a wind generator that is salt water proof. The best in the world and also units that are salt water proof is southwestwind in Flagstaff Arizona. You may have a dealer near you.
Their model for boats is tops http://airbreeze.com/?q=marine
Check incentives and wind net-metering at

It looks like Floida has net-metering for WIND.
