Toyota Highlander and Lexus RX Hybrid - Are Either Good Green Choices?

Anonymous

Green Folks,

I am looking at turning in our horrible gas-guzzling Volvo XC90 (gets 11.8 avg. in City) and getting either a Toyota Highlander or Lexus RX Hybrid. I'd really appreciate hearing any feedback that you have on either car. I know there's a good price difference, but overall which vehicle is better and why. How good are either of these cars?

Thanks,
Naida

Both are OK, but the best is just the size you use most of the time. A prius makes those look like big gas guzzelers. Do you really need all the extra size 90+% of the time ?

I get 55-85 mpg in my Prius. It costs less, used less materials to make and it even safer with much less chance I won't roll over, or kill someone else with my large SUV.

The bach seats fold down as 2 parts and you can carry lots of big things as well as people.

PS yopur subject was too big , just like and SUV so I shortened it to add a comment !
