Too old to have pimples:)
Happy Birthday Belinda!
As you know, women have chemical changes that occur during these periods and you need to minimize them by avoiding the "highs and lows" that occur with your diet. Avoid alcohol (wine is ok) and tobacco. Eat something every couple of hours. Keep a try of foods that you like - i.e. fruit; crackers; small meals; to avoid low blood sugar, which interfers with your hormone balance.
Drink plenty of water, even if you feel bloated and EXERCISE! Your body gets rid of toxins, through the pores on the body and face, then use a skin freshener to wipe off the sweat from your face and neck.
You should be taking calcium every day and especially at this time. It is known to help lessen the effects, physically and emtionally, of the menstrual period.
This information is NOT given as medical advice. It is the result of many years of study and observance. Your doctor should be consulted if you think your problem requires it.
Now to your skin: At this time you should exfoliate your face at least once a day - morning and evening would be better. The best exfoliates for this are ones without acids of any kind. They not only dry out the skin, they can cause "breakage", leaving the skin open to more infection. After exfoliating, moisturize with a lotion that does not have an oil base.
Francine's Products manufactures two exfoliates: Face of the Sea Exfoliating Powder and Face of the Sea Exfoliating Cream. Both are 100 % natural and safe enough to eat - although I don't know anyone who would develope that kind of taste. Although mild, our exfoliates gently remove at least 90% of surface material and pimples with every use. That includes surface lines and wrinkles.
Our Day and Night Lotions have NO oil base. They absorb immediately. On our web site: www.facefitness.com, you will also find an assortment of Skin Fresheners that actually help in changing your mood. Please read our Testmonials - they are very interesting and you can see for yourself what results these people have in using Face of the Sea Products.
For the holidays we offer "gift wrapping" for each order, just state what occasion paper you want. We also include a knit stocking, 4"X6", with a Bear, Santa or Snowman Face. I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Stay Safe! I hope to hear that you visit our site.
Please let me know if these things help your condition.
Francine

OK, I am 31 years old today, and my skin is still that of a 16 year old at times. I thought as I got older this problem would clear up. I have tried Proactive, Murad acne, and also Arbonne Acne, but they just seem to dry me out completly. I do not have extreme acne, but at certain times of the month:) I would say it is mild acne. I would love to find something that would leave my skin soft yet acne free, or close to;).
Thanks so much,
Belinda
